Dags för ett nyhetsblad och jag hoppas att det som vanligt är intressant! Speciellt tack till Thomas Johansson i Habo för två superplattor med Redd Volkaert!
På lördag är det SCMCårsmöte och därtill fest på kvällen! Enligt Gazetten (SCMCs klubbtidning) är platsen Rest. Matlustan. Torsgatan 14, Stockholm. Mötet börjar 17.00
Bertil Nordin (tidig Country Minstrelsmedlem) i Sollefteå vill sälja några gamla fina countryplattor. Maila honom om du är intresserad!

Vi står i begrepp att flytta från huset till en lägenhet i Sollefteå på gamla dar (dvs. nu snart)
och alla samlingar får inte plats.
Det gäller bl.a. mina country-LP – cirka 200 st. Några godbitar har jag svårt att släppa, men
med rätt köpare så…
Där finns Waylons många tidiga, ett 20-tal. Hans första är t.o.m. signerad i Stockholm 1970.
Även Merle Haggards tidigaste – och Buck Owens Buckaroos (som jag vet är intressanta för
samlare). Det mesta är 60 – 70-tal.
Har du intresse och möjlighet att ta med ett par rader i nyhetsbladet om att jag säljer hela
rasket till ett förmånligt pris ?

The Grand Ole Opry and WSM will host a 2nd-Annual Listener Appreciation Opry
February 28, as the Opry returns to the Grand Ole Opry House after a four-month
run at the historic Ryman Auditorium.
WSM will give away tickets to the 7:30 p.m. Opry performance on air all day
today through February 27. Artists scheduled to appear on the evening's
performance include Joe Diffie, Pam Tillis, Connie Smith, John Conlee and other
favorites.

The Opry, known around the world as the home of the best in country
music, has not missed a Saturday night broadcast on 650 WSM since it
first aired on Nov. 28, 1925. Today people around the world also listen
to the Opry on Sirius Satellite Radio and online at wsmonline.com and
opry.com.

hospitality and entertainment company based in

Men redan dagen innan, den 27 februari alltså, kan ni åka till
Dalarnas Country Music Club och deras jam i Kvarnsveden och bl a lyssna på
Carolina Åkerlind och Janne Lindgren (det är er redaktör det). Vi kommer att
göra ett framträdande där i all hemlighet och vi kan lova er pure country. Sedan
är det bara för de som vill att kasta sig iväg till Arlanda och Nashville. Jag
tror ni hinner till Grand Ole Opry i god tid. Möjligtvis lite trötta?!
